The 2008 GWTS (Great West Truck Show) Las Vegas takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center June 26-28, 2008. GWTS is the only major trucking event held annually in the Western US dedicated to serve those individuals that operate heavy and medium duty trucks in their business. GWTS has it all -major truck, trailer, engine, components and parts manufactures; show trucks, service providers, trucking recruiting, and free on-site truck parking - and it’s set in the exciting city of Las Vegas! Some of the exciting events that will be held during the 2008 GWTS include the Truck Beauty Competition, Educational Seminars, special appearances by the Chrome Shop Mafia, and exhibits from leading trucking industry product and service companies. Free 1 hour “Let’s Talk Expediting” seminar each day of the show  in the Expedite Info Center, (booth #2429). The seminars are presented by Linda M. Yates, The Expediters Consultant. Mrs. Yates is a veteran expediter and since 1999 has been teaching current and potential drivers the business of expediting. She is also a frequent guest on Sirius channel 147 Road Dog Trucking Radio and the developer of the Expediter Training program. The “Let’s Talk Expediting” seminars focus on understanding the nature of the business; important things to consider before entering a career as an expediter; and specking a truck for the expedite application. The “Let’s Talk Expediting” seminar sessions held at GWTS are free however if you plan on attending it is recommended that you pre-register to ensure there will be adequate quantities of handout materials.
