The 2008 GATS (Great American Trucking Show) takes place at the Dallas Convention Center August 21-23, 2008. The Great American Trucking Show celebrates its 10th year Anniversary! For the 3rd consecutive year, GATS has been named to Trade Show Week magazine’s “Fastest 50,” which lists the 50 fastest growing trade shows in the U.S. and Canada. Free “Let’s Talk Expediting” on Saturday, August 23 at 11:30 a.m. in room D175. This seminar is presented by Linda M. Yates, The Expediters Consultant. Mrs. Yates is a veteran expediter and since 1999 has been teaching current and potential drivers the business of expediting. She is also a frequent guest on Sirius channel 147 Road Dog Trucking Radio and the developer of the Expediter Training program. In the “Let’s Talk Expediting” seminar Linda will discuss: what expedited trucking is all about; the growing opportunities; revenue expectations; choosing a carrier to lease to; specking a vehicle, tips and techniques for expedited trucking.
